Week 1 EOC Great Customer Service

"Customer relationships and value are especially important in today’s tough economic times, when more frugal consumers are cutting back and spending more carefully"

A time when I experienced great customer service was when I went to purchase my first vehicle from  a dealership . I was so excited and happy to finally being getting a new car . So as we got to the Nissan  dealership I  looked around and found the vehicle I wanted which actually happened to be  a Nissan Titan truck . I  test drove it and immediately feel in love in love with the truck and definitely had to have it  . We went inside started all of the paper work and with in about an hour and a half I was leaving in my brand new truck . So almost a month goes by and I was  getting ready to make my first payment then I got the terrible phone call saying that  the dealership actually didn't get me approved for the truck and that I would have  to  either  put down an additional $5000 or bring the truck back . So the next day I went down to the dealership and was yelling at them because they were quick too take my money but not actually get me approved. Also learned that they had shot gunned my credit . so after a lot of yelling I finally got my money back and left . Was so devastated  that I had to go through being a first time buyer. So af5ter trying several other dealerships I was giving up hope my wife was trying to encourage me to stay positive and that we would find  another vehicle. So she said lets try one more dealership then if that doesn't work well try something else . So we went to Ford country she went in talked to  the manager told him everything that happened so he said that he would take care of us . we got out side I test drive a Ford fusion which  I was not interested in we got back  to the lot and I started looking at the other vehicles that they had an came across an all black Nissan Maxima . So I looked at the Maxima and immediately wanted it with no hope or thought in mind that I would actually get approved for it . So we walk back inside the dealership and I see this gentleman that look really familiar  . He was the assistant General Manager form he Nissan dealership that I had gotten screwed over in the week before. So he came over started talking to me he said that he remembered me from the dealership. I asked him what was he doing there and he said he was the new General Manager for the Ford dealership and that he had left Nissan the next day after I returned the truck and said that that particular dealership was screwing allot of people over and he didn't like that so he left. I was really shocked   so he knew what had happen to me so  he pulled some strings and he put me in the Maxima that I wanted . The best experience of customer service that I ever have received .
